In the passive, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb.
Example :
1. Tom is going to open the door (Active)
The door is going to be opened by Tom (Passive)
2. Jackie scored the winning goal (Active)
The winning goal was scored by Jackie (Passive)
3. Mary will have helped John (Active)
John will have been helped by Mary (Passive)
